Legacy Sparring Session

The Legacy Boxing Club will be having a sparring only session from 5:15 PM to 7:15 PM on Wednesday Jun 5th.

All Legacy athletes interested in getting lots of sparring rounds in are encouraged to attend. The Legacy Boxing Club offers sparring with a focus on learning and improving, with appropriately matched sparring partners to prevent injury.

Lilac City Boxing, Hillyard’s Ring Kings, Spokane Boxing, AAA Boxing and all other boxing gyms are invited for an opportunity to give everybody’s competing fighters an opportunity to gain experience.

We will be categorizing our sparring times roughly according to weight as detailed below, however if you have time constraints please let me know and we will do our best to make accommodations for you.

5:15 PM - 5:45 PM, 100 lbs and under

5:45 PM - 6:15 PM, 100 to 140 lbs

6:15 PM - 6:45 PM, 140 to 180 lbs

6:45 PM - 7:15 PM, 180 lbs and over

Legacy Fast Hands Tournament

Legacy Fast Hands Tournament

June 19th, 5:45 PM-7:15 PM.

Go head to head with athletes in your age and weight division to earn dogtags, medals and awards!

Bouts are decided on a best of five points system. One point is earned for the Fastest (measured with electronic sensors) jab, right hand, and left hook. Whoever gets the most point out of five is the decided winner of the match. The points you earn go towards your team score to decide which team wins.

Athletes simply show up the day and time of the tournament to enter.

Glen Evan's Memorial Tournament

Legacy Competes at the Glen Evan’s Memorial in Yakima. $10 Athlete Entry Fee (Pay to Yakima War Eagles at the event).

Yakima War Eagles Club, 307 W. Chestnut Ave, Yakima WA 98902.

Fighters leave for Yakima Friday afternoon/evening and stay over at the Red Roof Inn, 1001 South Sgt. Pendleton Way, Yakima WA 98901.

Weigh ins Saturday morning at 7:30 AM.

Fights begin 2:00 PM Saturday.

Weigh ins Sunday morning 7:30 AM.

Fights begin 12:00 PM Sunday.

Travel home Sunday night.

Central Seattle Saturday Night Smoker

-Legacy Boxing Competes in Seattle.

-Fighters go to bed early (9:00 PM or earlier) the night before the fight.

-Fighters must bring their mouthguard, shoes, and a protective cup/jock strap. Legacy has all other necessary equipment.

-Fighters leave Spokane at 6:45 AM (Eat a healthy breakfast, drink 12 Ounces of water by 8:00 AM, then no fluids or food until after weigh in). Carpooling is available. It is very important that you make it to weigh ins by 11:30 AM in order to fight. Weigh ins are over at 12:00 Noon.

-Fighters weigh in at 11:30 AM at Cascade Middle School: 11212 10th Ave, Seattle 98146.

-Lunch at Little Pat’s Place after weigh ins, 13611 Ambaum Blvd SW, Seattle, WA 98166.

-Fights Begin at 5:00 PM, same location as weigh ins. We will fight early in the show.

-Coach is driving back Saturday night for anyone who want to carpool.

Legacy Best Puncher Tournament

THE LEGACY BOXING CLUB BEST PUNCHER TOURNAMENT

Have your punches electronically measured on the heavy bags and compete against your fellow athletes!

Speed, power, and number of punches decide your victory in brackets set up for age, weight, and experience.

Tournament will take place at The Legacy Boxing Club on March 28th at 4:15 PM - 6:00 PM. Simply show up by 4:15 PM Thursday to enroll in the tournament.

Legacy Boxing Club Team Meeting

Legacy Boxing Club members, Fighters, Coaches and Volunteers, We are holding a brief meeting Tuesday December 11th at 6 p.m., following the fighters session.

The purpose of the meeting is to:

1. Share ideas on how to make our exceptional training experience even better.

2. Choose the new Legacy Fight Team jerseys, as well as fighter and fighter comrade uniforms.

3. Brainstorm on how to expand our Fighters for at-risk youth, Fighters for survivors, bullies to champions, and KO Parkinson's programs.


I am excited and looking forward to hearing your ideas, if you are unable to attend I understand!

The Legacy Boxing Club is excited to work with Spokane Valley Christian Homeschool, and the Homeschool Community at large in Spokane, to bring quality extracurricular activities to homeschooled kids of all ages.

ALL KIDS HOMESCHOOLED AND OTHERWISE ARE WELCOME TO TRY OUT A FREE TRAINING SESSION AT THE LEGACY BOXING CLUB AUGUST 31ST AT 4:00 PM.

Legacy Promotional Video Shoot

The Legacy Boxing Club is shooting a back to school promotional video on August 13th and 14th. From 5:00-6:00 PM on both days.

Volunteers needed include:

6 Youth athletes from age 8-18 Interested in recording monologues.

6 Youth athletes from age 8-18 Interested in being videoed hitting punching bags, slamming battle ropes, and various other drills in the gym.

6 athletes from age 19-40 Interested in recording monologues.

6 Youth athletes from age 19-40 Interested in being videoed hitting punching bags, slamming battle ropes, and various other drills in the gym.
